Position Overview

We are seeking a senior Enterprise Architect with proven experience working within Fortune 100 companies and a demonstrated track record of driving large-scale technology transformation across complex, matrixed organizations. This is not an entry-level enterprise architecture role — we are looking for someone who has operated at the highest levels of large enterprise environments, partnered directly with executive sponsors and C-suite stakeholders, and led cross-functional technology teams through significant modernization programs.

Candidates must be fluent in English (B2+ or higher, both written and spoken). The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with executive leadership and technical teams in English is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.

The ideal candidate has spent meaningful, sustained time (3+ years in key roles) at Fortune 100 or large-scale enterprise organizations — not primarily in consulting engagements or small-to-mid-size shops — and brings the depth of experience that comes from navigating the scale, governance, and complexity of major enterprises. They can speak with authority and in detail about enterprise architecture frameworks, technology roadmaps, governance processes, and how large organizations align technology strategy to business outcomes.

This role bridges business strategy and technology execution, ensuring that enterprise systems, infrastructure, applications, data platforms, and cloud environments evolve in a scalable, secure, and integrated manner. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing target architecture frameworks, establishing enterprise technology standards, and ensuring new initiatives integrate effectively within the broader technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Strategy

• Define and maintain the enterprise technology architecture roadmap aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
• Design and maintain target architecture models across infrastructure, networking, applications, data, and cloud platforms.
• Establish and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance processes.

Architecture Governance

• Review and approve technology solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and security policies.
• Lead architecture governance forums and guide solution architects and engineering teams in implementing enterprise standards.
• Ensure new technology initiatives integrate efficiently into the existing enterprise technology ecosystem.

Infrastructure & Network Architecture

• Define architecture strategies for enterprise networking, data center environments, hybrid cloud platforms, and WAN connectivity.
• Guide the design of advanced networking environments, including routing frameworks, SD-WAN strategies, and secure connectivity architectures.
• Support data center modernization and hybrid cloud adoption initiatives.

Cloud & Platform Integration

• Define enterprise architecture approaches for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure consistent architecture patterns across cloud, infrastructure, and application platforms.
• Establish architectural standards for secure connectivity, workload placement, and service integration.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with C-suite executives, business leaders, product teams, security architects, cloud engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure technology initiatives support business priorities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable architecture solutions and technology roadmaps.
• Support enterprise initiatives focused on scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.

Architecture Documentation & Standards

• Produce enterprise architecture documentation, including reference architectures, architecture blueprints, and technology standards.
• Maintain enterprise architectural models and documentation aligned with evolving business needs.

Technology Modernization

• Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce technical debt, and improve scalability.
• Support long-term digital transformation and enterprise modernization programs.

Required Qualifications

• Must have direct experience working within Fortune 100 or comparably large-scale enterprise organizations (internal roles, not exclusively consulting engagements).
• Must have a track record of sustained tenure — candidates with a pattern of 1-year stints will not be considered; we expect at least 3+ years in key roles where meaningful architectural change was driven.
• Must be able to speak in depth about enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), technology governance processes, and how they have been applied in large organizations.
• Must have experience presenting to and influencing executive sponsors and senior leadership.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure architecture, or large-scale IT architecture roles.
• Proven experience aligning technology strategy with business objectives at organizational scale.
• Strong background in enterprise infrastructure, networking, and cloud architecture.
• Experience designing hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
• Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts and large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Experience implementing enterprise architecture governance frameworks.
• Strong communication skills — must be able to translate complex technical concepts for executive and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading and coordinating across large, cross-functional technology teams.
• English B2+ — fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• TOGAF certification or equivalent enterprise architecture framework expertise.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and infrastructure platforms.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Background in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
