Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineering Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise networking initiatives with a strong emphasis on data center modernization, advanced routing, SD-WAN, and security architecture
.This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and multi-tenant network environments across global regions, supporting enterprise transformation programs involving data center virtualization, WAN evolution, cloud integration, and next-generation security frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on expertise across Cisco Nexus platforms, ACI, advanced routing protocols, firewall technologies, SD-WAN solutions, and multi-tenant cloud architectures. This position is based in Mexico or Brazil
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise and multi-tenant data center environments (Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K, ACI)
- Design and implement advanced routing solutions including BGP, MP-BGP (VPNv4), OSPF, EIGRP, VRFs, MPLS WAN, DMVPN, GRE, QoS, and policy-based routing
- Architect and deploy SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Citrix SD-WAN, multi-site VPN topologies)
- Design and implement secure network architectures incorporating: Cisco FTD, ASA NGFW, Firepower, Palo Alto NGFW Check Point firewalls, IPS/IDS technologies
- Lead WAN architecture including MPLS circuit deployments and VRF-aware configurations
- Architect multi-tenant cloud-integrated network environments across AMER, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions
- Design and implement load balancing and application delivery solutions (GSLB, VIPs, NetScaler ADC, F5)
- Provide architectural guidance for Data Center modernization initiatives, including VMware and VMM integrations
- Support network connectivity and data pipeline architecture for cloud analytics platforms, including Google BigQuery integrations
- Produce comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and network diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud engineering, security, DevOps, and data center operations
- Provide escalation support and troubleshooting for complex routing, switching, and security challenges
- Participate in architectural governance reviews and evaluate design changes for scalability, resiliency, and compliance
- Mentor engineering teams and provide senior-level technical leadership across programs
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture
- Deep expertise in Cisco routing and switching platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, VRF, DMVPN, GRE, QoS, route maps, and policy-based routing
- Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms (N9K, N7K, N5K) and Cisco ACI
- Strong background in SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Citrix SD-WAN)

Preferred Skills
- Cisco CCNP (Data Center, Security, or Enterprise) or equivalent certification
- Progress toward CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise)
- AWS Solutions Architect certification or strong cloud networking experience
- Familiarity with Google Cloud BigQuery or other cloud data warehousing/analytics platforms
- ITIL Foundation knowledge
- Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government
- Experience supporting global, multi-region enterprise network transformation programs.
